Ratan Hospital has a dedicated Ultra – Clean Joint Replacement Operation theatre with Class-100 Laminar Air Flow system since its inception in 1997 when very few hospitals were equipped with such world-class Operating Room. Surgeon use Body Exhaust Suites (Space Suit) for performing Joint Replacement Surgeries. Completely disposable and water repellent drapes are used for the surgery. Hospital has a CSSD unit with a fully automatic high pressure horizontal autoclaving system, an ETO gas steriliser and an Ultrasonic Enzyme bath instrument cleaner. Due to this robust infrastructure, infection rate is almost zero despite high volumes of joint replacement surgeries performed here.

Due to increasing patient clientele this existing 10 bedded Ratan hospital was not adequate to meet up heath care demands and hence this new Hospital Project was proposed. Also, majority of patients (especially old age patients) require simultaneous care from other specialities like Physician, Cardiologist, Nephrologist, Intensivist which can be provided only in a multi- specialty hospital.
This hospital will be ready by August 2016 and will have world class infrastructure to provide complete surgical, medical and supportive treatment to all class of patients.
